Outlook E-Mail Setup

Follow The Steps Below:

1. Login to OWA first, to setup your password (Only if this is your first time using your e-mail account):

A. Browse to https://mail.ptcmailonline.net/exchange

B. Login with your username and password
C. Setup a new password making sure to meet the system requirements

D. Requirements: At least 1 Capital, 1 Number and 1 special character (ie. !@#$) a total of 7 or more characters.

E. Click OK
F. Verify it was successful and close your browser.

2. Open Windows Control Panel:

A. Open Mail

B. Click on E-Mail Accounts
 

  1. If you already have other accounts, you may need to create a new profile to separate them, otherwise follow below.
  2. Click on New
  3. Select Next
  4. Check the box at the bottom “Manually configure server settings…”
  5. Select Next
  6. Select “Microsoft Exchange”
  7. Select Next
  8. For Login enter username@ptcmailonline.net (ie. Username provided.)
  9. Enter new password you setup.
  10. Click on “More Settings…”
    1. Select the “Advanced” tab
    2. Uncheck “Use cached Exchange Mode” (unless you plan to be offline and need access to your e-mail offline.)
    3. Select the “Connections” tab
    4. Check “Connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP”
    5. Click on “Exchange Proxy Settings”
    6. In the tob box fill in: mail.ptcmailonline.net
    7. Check “Connect using SSL Only”
    8. Check “Only connect to proxy…”
    9. Enter in the next box “msstd:mail.ptcmailonline.net”
    10. Check “On Fast networks…”
    11. Check “On Slow networks…”
    12. Click OK
  11. Click OK

C. Click Next

D. Click Finish


NOTE:
For Verification,

1. Open Outlook
2. You may be prompted for your username and password, enter it and click on Save username and password.
3. Verify your e-mail pulls up.
